I started sailing optimist at the age of 5 and right away sailing became my passion and my way of life which I am sure will be forever! I competed in 5 optimist world championships being the youngest on my first one a d finishing in the top 25 the next four worlds. I was very lucky to start sailing big boats and offshore races with my father from a very young age as well. Since then I have combined my sailing career between dinghies, J70 where I won the World Championship in 2015 and many offshore races having won the Sydney to Hobart, 5 PV races and 4 podiums in the Transpac. This 2021 was definitely the most important year in my sailing career now leading the Mexican Team for the Ocean Race as well as becoming part of the SSL Team Mexico! 2023 will be an even bigger year for me and for Mexico in sailing!!!
